Given a closed reading and drawing exercise, students will describe how to effectively score a four on our upcoming drawing and writing assessment. Furthermore, they will explain how the elements of art are used by artist Keith Haring in an exit slip.

On a white sheet of paper, draw people in the style of Keith Haring dancing using the instructions. Then self assess your drawing using the 'Mandala rubric.'
